Meet the Instructor

Billy McCraw is the owner and operator of Gotta Pass Drivers Education and Commonwealth Driver Improvement.

Gotta Pass Drivers Education was founded in 2011 to provide a safe and knowledgeable driving experience for teenagers and young adults. The course is the last step in your son or daughter obtaining their driver’s license.

Commonwealth Driver Improvement was found in 1999 by William V. Ingram. Mr. Ingram has since retired, and Billy is continuing to provide the 8-hour driver improvement course. The 8-hour course meets all requirements set forth by the court and DMV.

Billy has over 34 years of Law Enforcement experience with 27 of those years with the Virginia State Police. He has over 20 years of teaching experience as a DCJS instructor and is also licensed as a DMV instructor.
